Wedding Testimonies

Review

We had the best wedding ever!!!!! 90% of that is because of our amazing DJ! I’ve been to a lot of weddings so I can say this! I’m not sure I can put this lightly, because I have to say that our DJ, DJ Philip was one of the most memorable parts of our wedding. We STILL have friends and family telling us how amazing he was and how he engaged with the guests, danced with the guests, and literally asked us for his information for their future events! He was so nice, and HELPFUL throughout the whole stressful ‘planning a wedding’ process, made it super easy to communicate with and organized our bridal party entrances and asked questions to make the day that much more special and amazing for us. All he cared about was making us HAPPY (and the guests) and he exceeded that!

Philip made my wedding a success!!! My wedding coordinator was off around the time of my reception, so he stepped in and made sure everything on my timeline was executed. Not only did he get the crowd going with the music we requested, he even came out and provided entertainment for our guests by break dancing! He was super accommodating, came through on all of the detailed requests I had asked for and to top it off, he stayed an extra hour since we didn’t want the party to end.

Thanks so much for contributing to my special day to make it an epic one!

Wedding Game Ideas

Anniversary Game

Anniversary Dance Do you want to recognize all of the married couples at your reception. The Anniversary or Generations dance is a great way to do this. We always like to build the dance floor, not tear it down. We always start with the newlyweds and work our way up. 1-5 years first, 5-10 years next… and so on. Once at 5 years we dismiss the couples by increments of 5 years. When we reach the longest married couple then we recognize the longest married couple by asking them to offer the bride and groom some advice for their marriage. Then, play something like “At Last” by Etta James, or “Could I Have This Dance?” and invite the bride and groom to dance with the longest married couple, about half way through the song we invite everyone else to join in. This is a great way to commemorate all of the married couples.

Car Wash — Rose Royce

This is a fun dance at weddings, especially if you like Disco. The ladies are the car wash. All of the ladies form two lines on the dance floor and face each other, arms out in front. All of the guys form a line and proceed through the line of the ladies. The guys are the cars going through the car wash. This dance is a lot of fun, especially if you like Disco and Funk music. If all the guys dance their way through the car wash, they can go around and start back through the line once again, and so

Kissing Game

During the tail end of dinner your DJ Calls out names of a few couples that the bride & groom has provided to the DJ. Then we make the couple kiss and bride & groom has to copy the same kiss. Very cute game!

Is He My Husband?

The bride is blindfolded and placed in front of several men seated in chairs. She must choose which one is her husband by only touching their faces.

Wedding Favors

Instead of giving out wedding favors, make guests earn them with these ideas for games and gags. Set up a game of musical chairs, bingo, or word games and award the favors as prizes. As an alternative, hide the favors around the hall beforehand and have the DJ call out clues about where to find them. These games help everyone to get in on the fun, and the mementos of the day will be cherished even longer because of the stories behind winning them

Roman Hands and Russian Fingers: This game is guaranteed to get the men in the audience chuckling. The bride is blindfolded while the best man places three small clips somewhere on the groom’s person. These should be in difficult-to-find places, such as the groom’s shoelaces or the back of his hair. The blindfolded bride must then find each of the clips with her hands. To make this game even more interactive and fun, allow guests to call out “warmer!” or “colder!” as the bride’s fumbling hands get closer to or farther away from a clip.

Table Centerpieces

There are many versions of games involving table centerpieces. Have one guest at each table pull out a dollar, and the guests at the table pass around the dollar while there is music playing. When the music stops, whoever is holding the dollar wins the centerpiece. For a touch of class, collect the money and let the flower girl and ring bearer split it.

Bride & Groom Trivia

To release tables or just through out the wedding we will be calling out questions that the bride & groom has provided us about thier life & who ever answers the questions first , their table will be released for dinner first or possible get a prize or win centerpiece!

Music to release tables

DJ will play a song and that table will be released to eat food first.

Game to release tables

How we will do this is each table will be givin an envelope. Inside each envelope there is a number.  When the music is played all tables will pass their envelope to the next table until the music stops.  When the music stops each table can open their envelope and see what their table number is.  Now they can either chose to trade their number with another table or keep the number they have ( they only have 30 seconds to do this) . After they have decided which number they are going to keep. They must put the number on their table in view for the DJ to see.  Starting either with the largest number or the smallest number all tables can be released one at a time in this order.

Wedding Dress Contest

Using the bridal party and a few rolls of toilet paper, Who can make the best wedding dress!

Love story game.

This is kind of like trivia but bride & groom will fill out the “love story” and through out the wedding our DJ will tell a little tid bit about the bride & groom to keep every one entertained!

The Shoe Game

The Bride and Groom remove their shoes stand back to back in the middle of the dance floor. Then tell them to trade one shoe. You just got married, but how well do you really know each other, let’s find out. This is always good for a few laughs and draws the guests in. How many matches can we get:

Who spends the most time getting ready in the bathroom?

Who spends the most time on the couch?

Who is in control of the remote control?

Who has the smelliest feet?

Who is more likely to pass gas in public and blame the other person?

Who will control the checkbook?

When you were dating, who made the first move?

Who snores the loudest?

Who wears the pants in the family?
